Witney, OX28
Acupuncturist
£60/initial consultation + first treatment

Hi, I'm Helen. I love living in Witney with my husband and teenage son. I have been involved with Acupuncture for over 30 years and it has helped me through many stages of my life.

As an Acupuncturist my aim is to treat patients according to Five Element Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine. I trained in Reading at the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine and graduated in 1996.

I have been a full member of the British Acupuncture Council B.Ac.C. for all of my career and I follow their code for professional standards and safe practice. The B.Ac.C. is a valuable source of information for prospective patients and they have produced research based fact sheets on over 60 conditions as well as other practical sources of information which are available to everyone.

Patients seek help through Acupuncture for a wide variety of conditions, often physical and frequently emotional. I have treated people with labelled and diagnosed conditions as well as patients who have come for treatment with sometimes more vague issues and have treated many people with OCD, PTSD, depression and stress and also circulatory, digestive, gynaecological and also those who know some aspect of their life is just not good enough.

C.P.D. is an important and valuable area of my work and each year I attend several courses which enable me to maintain and enhance my treatment skills.

I genuinely love practicing Acupuncture and the greatest thrill for me is seeing my patients blossom and move on in their lives with fewer symptoms and greater confidence.

I am based in Witney.

My availability is from Monday to Saturday.

The initial consultation including the first treatment lasts up to one and a quarter hours and costs £60, with weekly appointments lasting up to three quarters of an hour and costing £42.

"I suffered with Panic Attacks and was a massive worrier and a friend suggested I see an Acupuncturist. Helen has been a good listener and has helped me calm down in myself and somehow I seem to be able to shut off some of the worrying thoughts I used to have. I even don't mind the needles, they're not as bad as I thought they would be."
