East Hagbourne, OX11
Counsellor and Psychotherapist

Hello, I'm Margaret. I come from the North, but have lived in South Oxfordshire now for 50 years. I worked as a Primary School teacher before my two little boys were born, then retrained as a counsellor and psychotherapist working for the NHS, the Youth Service, Universities and Oxford Parent Infant Project. I now work part time privately and look forward to becoming a grandmother.

I see people for short or longterm psychodynamic counselling. My approach is psycho-dynamic. When going through difficult periods in life, it can be helpful to talk things through and put your feelings into words.

This can help make sense of difficulties in the present by looking backwards and then forwards to generate more possibilities.

I help those who are suffering from emotional distress or mental health issues arising from: Bereavement, Mild Depression, Loss, Personal development, Disability, Health related issues, Cultural issues, Self esteem, Sexual identity, Spirituality, Women's issues, Child related issues, Infertility, Pregnancy related issues, Relationships, Redundancy, Stress, Work related issues.
